“Ugh!” You flung the instruction manual across the room, only missing Berwald because he ducked. He looked up at you puzzedly, tilting his head. A couple of nails were jutting out of his mouth and he deposited them in the palm of his hand along with the hammer he was about to use.
“Wh’t’s wr’ng?” His hands on your shoulders and him crouching down on the floor next to you, his voice was soft. You hugged him tightly and nuzzled into the crook of his neck. “It won’t work!” You wailed, sniffling in frustration.
Chuckling, he sat down, his arms around you. “S’okay...” he murmured, stroking your hair gently. You huffed a bit in your anger and settled yourself against him.
After a few moments of this, your husband leaned down and kissed your cheeks. “T’ll you wh’t? H’w ab’t you go and m’ke s’me coffee and I’ll f’n’sh.”
“You’d do that?” Gazing up at him with wide eyes, you blushed when he flashed you one of his rare smiles and as always you felt your heart pound.
“That sounds brilliant! Thanks Ber.” You whispered, leaning up to brush your lips against his. When you’d pulled away from both the kiss and his embrace to get some coffee, Berwald dropped himself onto his back.
He smiled widely, his cheeks flushed. You really didn’t have any idea how you made him feel when you acted sweet like that. Even after you and him had been together for several years and were even married, he still couldn’t believe his luck.
Now the relationship the two of you had was even closer, he thought, looking around all of the boxes and crates of stuff that were yet to be unpacked. The only thing out was the double mattress and a wardrobe for clothes.
Well then, he hummed, let’s see what the problem was about.
You heard several grunts coming from the other room over the bubble of the coffee and stuck your head around the corner. Your jaw dropped as you saw the table you’d been trying to assemble stand proudly in the middle of the room.
“H-how did you do that so fast?!” You walked up to it, running your palms over the smooth wood. He shrugged. “W’sn’t th’t h’rd, d’dn’t r’lly ‘nd’rst’nd wh’t you h’d pr’bl’ms w’th.” You scowled at him and playfully smacked his arm.
“Well unlike some I wasn’t naturally born with the ability to build anything and everything.” He smiled, wrapping his arms around your waist and burying his nose into your hair.
“N’w h’w ab’t th’t coffee?”
“S’already ready, big guy.”
;u;
And god I was so at odds with the accent!
I didn't know if I should do it or not, so I'm happy it was all clear enough
I've already fixed three sinks, painted an entire house, replaced drains and faucets, and fixed a toilet. I'm also good with cars. xDDD
*shrugs* I'm generally lazy though, so I'd get Ber's help any day. ;D
God, I love his accent~
Geez I'll get you to help next time when I'm painting my room!
And his accent is adorable!
