You walked up to the door, which seemed to magically open. “Heya.” You said, hugging Alfred tightly. He dragged you inside, one of his arms around your waist as he closed the front door. “You know, you’ll go deaf.” He told you, tapping the earphones which were blasting music loudly into your ears.
“You know, you’ll get fat.” You teased, poking his stomach gently. He pouted and you straightened up. “Touché.” You grinned at his remark and planted a kiss on his cheek, using one of your hands to turn down the music.
Interlacing your fingers, he pulled on your hand, tugging you in the familiar direction of his room. “So which one are we playing today?” You questioned, barely keeping up with him as he was taking two steps at a time.
“New one Kiku asked me to test, it’s got a weird name I can’t pronounce though.” He added the last part sheepishly, sinking down in the red beanbag. Joining him after you’d closed the door, you sank down into it as he started it up.
He’d turned the lights off and even though it was yet late afternoon, the sun was already setting. The sun threw orange and red tinted light over the two of you, the TV’s glow adding to the effect. “So how do we play?”
Alfred hummed as the loading screen lit up. “Not sure yet. Kiku didn’t say that much about it when he gave it to me.” Shrugging, you snuggled closer to his side. A slight blush crept up to his cheeks and he shifted so you were sitting between his legs, his chest firmly against your back.
“That’s better.” You hear him mumble and you could feel his inflamed cheek pressed against your neck. Laughing softly, you craned your neck back to brush your lips over his. He responded immediately, cupping your cheek in his hand and smiling into the kiss.
When you broke away from each other somewhat breathless, you gave each other a grin and settled on concentrating on the game. Unfortunately it was a one-player game, but you agreed to take turns, with the other making funny remarks and comments about what the characters were like, or mimicking their voices terribly, on purpose of course.
After not too many mishaps he’d managed to get to a boss fight, but was flattened in seconds. Sighing, he passed you the white controller which was still warm from when he’d held it. You gulped, seeing the size of the boss compared to your character.
With an accidental flick of your thumbs, your character swept forward in a particularly impressive move. Both your eyes and Alfred’s were wide but you quickly regained your composure to smash the boss.
Cheering loudly and not caring about the neighbours, you did a victory dance. Or well, you did a victory dance to the best of your possibility with Alfred sitting around you. “That’s my girl!” He cried, hugging you tightly and kissing your neck.
Squealing, you rolled over and he jumped on you, tickling your sides. “St-stooop!” Your breaths were laboured and you pulled him on top of you in a desperate attempt to thwart his tickling. Bad move, instead he kept on doing it, only now his weight was pressing down on you as well.
Reaching behind you, your arms flailed about to find something to clobber your American with. A pillow was in your reach and you hit it over his head mercilessly. He only laughed louder, though his fingers had stopped their tickling.
“I surrender!” He said, holding his hands above his head. His glasses were askew, in danger of sliding from his nose. Smiling, you dropped the pillow to the side and replaced the glasses on his nose. A purr resounded from his chest and he nuzzled into the crook of your neck.
You wrapped your arms around his neck, stroking his messy hair gently. After a moment or two, he pulled back, resting on his elbows. Gazing down lovingly, he caressed your cheek with the back of his hand.
“What’s with the stare?” You felt self-conscious under his gaze and blushed when he leaned down to kiss your forehead. “I was just wondering how I was ever able to snag such a beautiful girl.” You blushed even more at his compliment and averted your eyes, it was hard to look back into his eyes.
His fingers tucked themselves under your chin and he gently turned your face back to his. “Please don’t look away from me. Please don’t, not ever.” He leaned down to shyly but firmly press his lips against yours and you smiled, feeling as though your heart had been warmed.
Suddenly a beam of light streamed across your eyes, making you wince and close them. “What? It’s already morning?” The two of you looked out of the window. The sun was coming up. Alfred chuckled, turning the game off and the TV as well.
“Well it’s never too late to go to bed.” He said, setting his glasses on the nightstand and pulling his shirt off. Nodding, you pulled his discarded shirt on and stepped out of your trousers, your top already lying near your bag.
Opening his arms for you, you slid into bed with him, shivering at the cold sheets and the contrast with his warm skin.
Exchanging a couple more kisses which were sweet and brief, the two of you fell asleep and not even the morning sun’s rays could wake the two of you.
